Midtown Modern Condo is a new launch condominium in Singapore District 9 along Tan Quee Lan Street at the Bugis area. The site is part of a Government Land Sale (GLS), which sits on top of Bugis MRT station; which is an interchange between Downtown Line and East-West Line. The tender drew two bids, of which the top bid of $800.19m was submitted by a joint venture between GuocoLand and subsidiaries of Hong Leong Holdings, namely Intrepid Investments and Hong Realty. Therefore this translates into a land rate of $1,535 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).
What attracted the aggressive bidding from developers is Midtown Modern’s location in Singapore up and coming Bugis area and that it sits adjacent to Bugis MRT interchange.
With a focus on wellness, the development will consist of two 30-storey towers with 558 homes in a huge forest garden setting and a retail podium. There will be a range of unit types from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units with amazing views. Residents will enjoy large green spaces and a wide range of recreational facilities not usually found in CBD projects.
